I, like many people I know have albums and boxes of old family photos stored away in a closet. I rarely look at them and have only a few that are framed and on display. I can’t throw them out, yet I have far too many. I have photos passed down to me from my parents and grandparents of people who I do not know. Maybe they are family, maybe they are friends. What to do with them all? I have come up with one idea — make them into art. I have enjoyed this immensely, especially with the old black and white photos with the white edges, and the ones in which the background is insignificant. I feel like I have given them new life, and now they are ready to be hung on the wall, or placed on the mantle.
